Theory: The Big Bang
The field of Graphic Design is one that is ever-changing influenced by technology, trends and even cultural persuasions. Over time, I have come to the realization that I as an individual do not have a particular “theory” or constant way of working. My theory changes with every new development and with every waking hour.
A “theory” according to the World Book Dictionary is :” The principles or methods of a science or art rather than its practice.” In essence, having a theory for a designer is as useless as a teacher with a scalpel or a salesman with a hammer. A theory for me is insignificant without my practice and vacant without my application.
My technique of work is always to have the client as the heart and focal point of the work. Preserving the client as the center is one step in understanding the vision of the world to others. I believe that when your clients are satisfied and you as the designer know that you have done your best, praise and fame come soon after -naturally.
My passion for personal growth compels me to always uncover the next obstacle to tackle and the next mountain to climb. I take my work very seriously because I feel that every project I take on is exactly that- a projection of me. A reflection of my abilities as a designer, my capabilities as a server and more importantly the reliability of my work.
In the end I’ll let time and life direct my course of design. Afterall, a theory’s beauty is only as deep as the typeface it was written with.
